WASHINGTON DC private jet charter

If you have to go to Washington, DC the best way to make it there is taking a plane there. The city has no less than three international airports. While all three airports are very convenient when it comes to flying with an airline, you should know that one of them, Ronald Reagan International Airport does not allow Washington, DC private jet charter flights without preliminary government clearing. This measure was imposed after September 11, 2011, and is a measure aimed to help prevent any kind of terrorist intent. This way, the best way to fly to the District by a private jet is Washington Dulles International Airport, which is also very well connected with the rest of the city.

There are many jet flights in and out of Washington, as the city is the most important in the US in terms of political and business activities. For example, governors and other political players have to regularly fly to Washington for talks and meetings and many of them prefer to fly in by jet. It is much safer for them to do so and can avoid unfortunate meetings on flights. Also, many companies have offices in Washington, as lobbying is one of the most important activities a company has to do, especially during tough economic times. Top player in pharmaceutics and banking are constantly moving around the city and thus top executives are constantly travelling to or from Washington. Actually, if you could take a look from afar to Washington airports, you would see that there are many jets parked on the runways. It’s one of the most trafficked cities in the US and many jet companies have offices in Washington. Many of them offer good deals for all round trips and for short term contracts, like flying in during the morning and leaving during the evening or night.

But Washington is not just about business, as it’s a great tourist destination as well. After all, it’s the capital of the United States and is the host of the most important institutions and historically and nationally valued monuments and artifacts. The city hosts the world famous Smithsonian Museum, where you can see some of the most important work of arts in the world, including the Hope Diamond. There’s a second Smithsonian to visit, the one dedicated to Air and Space history, where you’ll be able to track the history of flight from the first prototypes of airplanes to the Apollo space mission. Also, you could take one of the numerous national monuments tours, including the tour of the White House, and other very attractive sites like the Lincoln Monument, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, and Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial. There are also memorials dedicated to the brave men who fought and died during World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War.

If you want to see the place where laws are made, take the free tour of the Capitol building, house of the Senate and the House of Representatives, but make sure you get in line early, as the tickets go really fast. The Cold War has its share of history in Washington and you check it out at the International Spy Museum, where you’ll be able to find out more about spies, selling national secrets and more. If nature is more your thing, you have the chance to visit the US Botanic Gardens or the Washington Zoo, which are very well positioned closed to city center.
